Mission:
Âé¶¹Íø honors Diné culture and language, while educating for the future.
Vision:
Âé¶¹Íø provides an excellent educational experience in a supportive, culturally diverse environment, enabling all community members to grow intellectually, culturally and economically.
Philosophy:
Through the teachings of Nitsáhákees (thinking), Nahátá (planning), ĪÃna (implementing), and Siihasin (reflection), students acquire quality education in diverse fields, while preserving cultural values and gaining economic opportunities.

Âé¶¹Íø (NTU) creates a powerful impact for students, taxpayers, and the community. A 2025 study conducted by Lightcast shows how NTU strengthens the Navajo Nation’s economy while providing long-term value for students and society.
